| Rhodes, Pagana Share Top Spot in NCPGA Senior Event |

Wellsboro, Pa - Alan Rhodes of the Mill Race Golf Club and John Pagana of the Susquehanna Valley Country Club each posted three over par 75 here today on the Tyoga Golf Club to share medalist honors in the third event in the NCPGA Summer Senior Tournament Series. Carl Stackhouse, also of Mill Race and winner of the first two events in the five-tournament series, finished third, two shots back with 77.
The top finishers in both the 50-65 (Senior Division) and 65 and over (Super Senior Division) will earn points in addition to merchandise gift certificates in the Tyoga Golf Club pro shop. It was the third event of the five tournament series. The next Senior Series Event will be at Bucknell Golf Club on July 23rd. The top four cumulative point getters through the summer in each division will be invited to play in the NCPGA Amateur Championship on September 12th and 13th at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club and will compete for the season Senior and Super Senior Title.
Net Prizes were also awarded in each division.
The NCPGA is a non-profit organization of member golf clubs dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the game of golf in North Central Pennsylvania. Founded in 1981, the association conducts a highly successful junior tour, men’s and women’s amateur championships, a senior tournament series, U.S. Open local qualifying and provides handicapping services to member clubs which is the major source of revenue to the association. NCPGA volunteers also rate golf courses and conduct educational seminars for handicap chairmen, rules clinics and supports the USGA Turf Advisory Program.
